Dr. Marcus Beck

Marcus Beck (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) is a post-doctorate research fellow with the USEPA Gulf Ecology Division in Gulf Breeze, FL.   He has a MSc and PhD in Conservation Biology, including a minor in Statistics from the Conservation Biology Program at the University of Minnesota. His research focuses on the analysis of large datasets to support decision-making in water quality monitoring programs.   His current work with the EPA includes analysis of time series data from the SWMP database and the development of analytical tools to support a nationwide study of estuarine metabolism. Marcus has extensive experience with the program R for statistical analysis and is a regular contributor to the R-bloggers website.
